Covid-19: How we’re looking after our patients and practice

Finn Dental Specialists are taking the Covid-19 pandemic very seriously and is taking the following extra steps to protect you, our team and the wider community.
All management of the situation is subject to change in light of emerging recommendations and government guidelines, which you can view here.

We remain open for emergencies only. All non emergency treatment will be postponed.
We ask that all patients with symptoms including fever or cough refrain from visiting the practice. Make contact by phone or email if you need to discuss your situation. Please follow the government guidance on self-isolation.

Please minimise the time you spend in the practice. If possible, we suggest that you check-in upon arrival, then wait in your car until called in for your appointment.

Contamination control
As well as our normal cross-infection control procedures, we have removed all reading matter including magazines, newspapers and brochures from waiting areas.

  • We are no longer making tea and coffee available.
  • Rest assured that all door handles are being disinfected before and after every patient visit.
  • Please minimise the use of the practice bathrooms. The bathrooms are being checked and cleaned between uses.
  • You will be charged an Emergency fee of £145 when we make your appointment. This will be deducted from the cost of treatment. If you wish to pay for the balance of your treatment by credit card, the practice will be using the same method as telephone payments as we are trying to minimise cross contamination by using the card machine. We will continue to take every precaution we can to ensure your safety and ours.

Cancellation policy
In the circumstances, we will be waiving our cancellation fees until further notice. Do please still advise us if you aren’t coming in for a booked appointment.
