Crowns
Crowns are used on badly broken down teeth, on root-treated back teeth, to replace previous crowns or to restore implants. On teeth that are not seen or where the appearance is less important to the patient, gold crowns offer the best longevity. Where cosmetic appearance is the over-riding issue for the patient, tooth-coloured crowns are used. All crowns are custom made by hand under a microscope to provide excellent fit and outstanding aesthetics. Where the appearance is important the patient visits the laboratory technician for detailed shade matching.
